Any news with SSDs about best 240-ish GB? You could always lie, who will know?

Lately you see more references to DRAM and 3D TLC Nand and I do't know what's marketing lingo and what's superior con really. So here I am wondering about what's best in-class for anything cheaper than Samsung? PNYs are cheap, $21 at BestBuy or $28 for 240GB at Amazon.

Having said that, for the $20 it does cost for these I should be buying one a month like I did with USB 3 sticks. They add up fast! And now the Pogo/SSD phase :-D

So many brand names and whatnot too... so does anyone have advice for a newb in the deep forest mWahahaha?
