Clearing out, Dockstars to good home.

Been a while since I've used these forums...

Dunno if there's anyone who still cares about Dockstars who doesn't already have enough. ;)

I need to massively downsize as I'm moving and rather than put these in the Goodwill pile where they will undoubtedly be unappreciated, just checking to see if there's anyone here who wants what's listed here for a beer and price of shipping. (Basically enough to cover fees, packaging and postage.) Sorry, can't ship outside of US. Too damn expensive.

1) Dockstar with lid, ac adapter, reflashed uboot.

7) 3.3v USB to Serial Cable, wires stripped and connected to a header block that will allow you to plug this into the Dockstar JTAG/Serial pins.

If you had some Rpi0, then perhaps you can repurpose your Dockstar as shown in my post on Dockstar as a host bridge for a Rpi0 configured as a USB gadget.

the build-quality of dockstar should be the best in similar devices.

How is it possible we can save money on shipping? There are so many times I'd have been glad to ship small computers across the pond to you or Parky Towers.

Shipping is an area I'm blindsided because I don't ship anything and any penny spent will be software (or eJuice, and that's light) LOL

But is there a way we could get some of the cost subsidized, for instance if I have an item to get to UK, can I list it on eBay and a minute later UK friend buys it (like $1) and the shipping is part of eBay's negotiated shipping deal? Or Amazon. Or a "slow boat to China" delivery where it might take a month but it's cheap? These units can take a pounding usually, not hard drives, but anything non-moving. I suppose capacitors might have pressure/de-pressure atmospheric stress. Still, it's a chance vs throwing something away here. There were a couple awesome little Wyze units Parky didn't have I would have been happy to donate along with extra RAM, but shppin' :-(

In conclusion, the US and UK are inseparable allies and it's not optimal to have this trade barrier me thinks.
