Currently Geekbuying is having a sale on this AP35 Intel Apollo Lake J3355 4GB DDR4 64GB SSD Windows 10 Mini PC Dual Band WiFi Bluetooth Gigabit LAN HDMI x 2 US $138. I don't know if this is a great deal or not, but just wanted to pass along for those who really want it.

Tough call - if it were $99 and had nothing on the SSD I'd crawl through broken glass to get the money for it. But Windows 10... at this point - I just don't trust it. It's like the chick who cuts my hair, sure she's good looking and sure she does an excellent job cutting my hair, but she'll blab anything I say to everyone else too LOL. Maybe bad example.

But what a great little desktop unit for most tasks, I'd love something like that and eventually the ThinClient I'm tying on will necessitate a replacement.

There's a world of people who trust Windows 10 who might find it a great deal. Just add any $10 Goodwill monitor on 1/2 price day and you've got a nice little workstation.

Ain't she beautiful? Begs the question, are the BIOSes at a point they could boot external drives through the USB 3 port?
I've always loved the idea of a Mr Potato head hardware blob that you could plug in entirely different experiment OSs. And would you believe I forgot, the USB 3 sticks, those would be mighty happy.

Thanks for making me happy after a night of meth-lab smells from my neighbor's 8-(
