Hi, since, this is also a Marvel Kirkwood based device with 512 MB Ram I wonder if someone has tried to put Debian on it as well: https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/check_point/check_point_l-50 I got that rather cheap and - as a router - OpenWRT will do more than fine, but, being just curious, a full Debian System would be a nice option as well :-) Currently, it is not in my hands yet,by 4920441 - Debian
BTW: after compiling and generating the debian packages with user configurable xfrm devices, it works like a charm:-) Don't know for shure if the hardware encryption is used, but since "irq/29-f1030000" makes the most load, I think so: [74603.467463] alg: No test for echainiv(authenc(hmac(sha256),cbc(aes))) (echainiv(authenc(hmac(sha256-generic),mv-cbc-aes))) [74991.523by 4920441 - Debian
Hi, thanks for takin a look. I just compile my own kernel right now (latest stable)... but being 'lazy' I did not want to set up a crosscompiling environment and thought, that would be a nice burn in test for the newly flashed NSA325 as well........ Okay.... I thought the days where I have to wait a whole day for a compiling a kernel where long over:-) No, they are back:-) Reby 4920441 - Debian
Hi, is there any howto how to flash openwrt besides debian? or is it straight forward as explained on the openwrt site despite changing the fw_envs so it boots from USB? Thanks! Cheers 4920441by 4920441 - Debian

Hi, I don't find any U-Boot for the Zyxel NSA-325v2 - is it exactly the same as the v1 ? I just got a stock Zyxel NSA325-v2 on my desk which I want to convert to something useful:-) Cheers, 4920441by 4920441 - uBoot
Hi again... my fault.... 'better obey the "skip this step..." then it is working wonderfully...:-) " Create uImage with embedded DTB for booting with older u-boots (2012 or earlier). *** Skip this step *** if you have installed the latest U-Boot for Kirkwood (or are installing this u-boot at the same time)." Thanks for your work! keep it up! :-) Cheers 49by 4920441 - Debian
Hi, I got a NewIT Sheevaplug a long time ago which was working 24/7 the last 5 years or so... until I decided I wanted to upgrade the kernel to a more recent version:-) So I upgraded my U-Boot from the 2011 version to 2017.07 version, which worked well....
