I haven't used my pogoplug with Debian for almost an year. I have tried to switch on today and found the green light glowing, but can't find in network. I found the below log from netcat. The OS stalled at 'Starting kernel...' for long time. Any clue how to fix it? During installation of u-boot, I have tried. It gave the same error. Then I searched this forum and someone has same issue and you have replied that the MAC address is random and it can be changed after reboot. So, I have rebooted and tried and still same error. By the way, leaving the new MAC will make any problems?by vaidyasr - uBoot
It is pogoplug v4 and I have only netconsole settings. Everything is working fine, but can't change the MAC to originalby vaidyasr - uBoot

Hi, I have a Pogoplug which was modified to work with Debian and the setup was done 1.5 years back. I haven't used the machine for the past 6 months. When I try to boot yesterday, I found the Pogoplug was switched on without any issues, but can't see in network. Even not listed under my router DHCP clients. How to fix it?. Any link for creating the bootable USB/SD card?.by vaidyasr - Debian
I found in the blogspot, that the WD Mybook LED's can be controlled via kernel module. http://hacksomethingtonight.blogspot.com/2009/12/wd-mybook-hacks-leds.html Is it possible to compile the above kernel module?. am trying with module-assistant in pogo v4, but can't find wd810-leds module.by vaidyasr - Debian

Hi bodhi, I tried to mount with big_writes option, but the output of mount option is below after mounted. /dev/sda1 on /share/My_Book_3 type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,allow_other,blksize=4096) Is that right?. am using ntfs-3g.by vaidyasr - Debian
Thanks bodhi, The big_writes option will improved the read speed too, or only write speed?by vaidyasr - Debian

bodhi, When I am moving a file from a networked device to the HDD's connected to the Pogoplug v4 (formatted as NTFS), I got the following results 441 be/4 root 0.00 B/s 4.12 M/s 0.00 % 0.00 % mount.ntfs /dev/sdb1 /share/My_Book -o rw 441 be/4 root 0.00 B/s 4.25 M/s 0.00 % 0.00 % mount.ntfs /dev/sdb1 /share/My_Book -o rw 441 be/4 root 0.00 B/s 4.14by vaidyasr - Debian

Hi bodhi Am not writing from SD card. Am trying to move data from one USB drive to another. I was trying dd command to test the write speeds on the USB drive and got 6mbps. I am using class 4 sdcard. I have even changed to a class 10 sdcard. Still same results. Is it possible to install embdebian on the nand? Am using pogo plug v4by vaidyasr - Debian
Am using Debian in Pogoplug series 4. The file transfer rate is very slow, i.e. 3MBPS via wifi and 6MBPS wired. Is it due to the OS (Debian) resides in SD card?.by vaidyasr - Debian
@lll I don't understand what you are taking about. what tool?. The 3TB issue was with the NTFS driver and I have installed ntfs-3g to fix the issue. I am not an arch-user. I know I can make a hybrid MBR, but my 3TB was already filled with 80% of data, so re sizing the partition is not an good idea with 80% of data.by vaidyasr - uBoot
Hi bodhi, I figured out the samba issue. One more question. When I reboot the PPV4, I see a blinking green turns to blinking red and blinking orange and after a while it turns static green. Is that normal?.by vaidyasr - uBoot
Hi bodhi, Am configuring the samba, I can't make it as read/write. I read lot of forums and made the changes, still I can't write from windows.by vaidyasr - uBoot
Am again at Step 0 :(. Now the drives are not recognized in Debian too.by vaidyasr - uBoot
