Yes, Kernel of Rescue v2 and V3 supports Dockstar arcNumber...you can change it safely. You can change it from Rescue without any problem. Use fw_setenv command for write new arcNumber but verify new value with fw_printenv before reboot the device. I don't really know why neither Squeeze or Wheezy doesn't boot but putting the good arcNumber value is mandatory for Kernel to identifyby ARJunior - Debian

Same problem here with new uBoot...after update and set arcNumber to 2998 , I can't boot on Debian anymore. Downgrading to "original" kernel version (2.6.32-5-kirkwood) correct the problem but I 've lost LED support :( Where can we get previous uBoot version for test ? Thanks. Regards.by ARJunior - uBoot
