I messed up the initial install too, and saved with a modified CIA-42 cable. If you have the cable, and it seems to be all to quick, try to simply let it boot, and meanwhile get the cable detected and installed in your (PC) OS and start the terminal program. Then use a paperclip to reset it (between power and ethernet)by MarcoV - uBoot
I'm planning to do exactly this: - installing to sata on a goflex-net - which has been registered. Any new experiences? My objective would be a reasonably complete debian on the sata disk (a 2.5" HDD)by MarcoV - Debian
Debian for Goflex uses which eabi revision? General arm 4 ? or GNU-eabi (I assume 5?) (If sb would be so kind and do cd /usr/lib readelf -h crt1.o |grep Flags but this might require uclibc/glibc-devel installed) I'm trying to mass generate cross-binutils for it using mingw, and, as most people know, that is pain, so I'd like to avoid doing that too often :-) I don'by MarcoV - Debian
