If I pop open my dockstar and connect a scope between, say, TXD and GND, what should I expect to see? A signal that is most of the time around 3v and then it drops when it is doing something or what? What about RXD and GND?by supremedalek - Debian
I guess I should then look at the script and see which steps are being done and then adjust for my needs as, well, needed.by supremedalek - Debian
I downloaded the jeff's script to install debian on a usb drive attached to my dockstar, which currently runs openwrt. But, when I start the script, it complains it can't find nanddump: # Installing /usr/sbin/nanddump... Newbie here and I think I need a bit of help understanding bootcmd. Let's say first I installed the u-boot and openwrt in my dockstar. Do I need to specify bootcmd if I want to boot off flash? If I do, should it be pointing to where the kernel is (I think that would be at 0x200000)? I mean as in setenv bootcmd nand read.e 0x800000 0x200000 0x300000\; go 0x800000 If I installedby supremedalek - uBoot
