Trying to mount specific disks to specific directorys at boot gives me some problems. If the disk isnt connected i cant access the box as ssh gets connection refused. Must the disk be present when using UUID or LABEL? The Wiki-topic says this is related to NSA326 but thread-topic says 325. Just want to confirm this works on NSA325 before I try anything... safarik Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I got it working! > > TL;DR : The magic is this: > > > # i2cset -y 0x0 0x50 0x7 0x01 b > > > After setting this the device alwas powers onby fgh - uBoot
Simply just did: apt-get install wireguard wireguard-tools resolvconf iptables But as you stated it brings in som rpi-stuff so i added wireguard-dkms and later was able to remove rpi packages: apt-get install wireguard-dkms dpkg -r linux-image-rpi linux-image-5.10.0-9-rpi Over wireguard: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ ID] Interval Transferby fgh - Debian
It seems to wrok just fine. The problem I had in first post is because wg-quick tried to add a route for my lan network over wg interface but there were already a route for that. network over eth0. On other machines it just adds the route but here it cancels if-up leaveing me withouth wg interface.by fgh - Debian

I have had a lot of problem with the usb-stick beeing unbootable after powerfailure. And now my NSA325 is off-site and doesnt show up anymore. I have a tar.bz2-backup of the entire USB-stick, is it possible to rewrite the stick from Windows? Also, if I may ask, would it be more stable to replace the USB-stick with an external USB-HDD for OS/boot?by fgh - uBoot
Ok, to save dumb people as me some time: root@kerstin:~$ keytest keytest (ESE Key Deamon 1.2.7, SVN-r63) (input device name as 1st option override autodetection) Pres ANY (fun)key... or Ctrl-C to exit... KEY_116 KEY_116 KEY_133 KEY_133 Then: root@kerstin:~$ cat /etc/esekeyd.conf KEY_116:/usr/bin/logger -s -i "POWER button pushed" RESTART:/usr/bin/logger -s -i "by fgh - Debian
I would like to make use of the copy button to run a simple bash copy command. Tried the script from the first post but didnt work. Does anyone have any other solution? Also, i would take the opportunity to again thank bodhi so much for helping me out with the installation process. bodhi, Something went wrong when i tried to flash u-boot from Debian the first time so I ended up with messed up envs just as you stated here above. I manage to restore working envs following your post here https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,29362,29390#msg-29390. Then after a new attempt of flashing u-boot in Debian following https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,12381, step 6 and 7 Debiaby fgh - uBoot
So now after trying to reflash uboot kwboot doesnt fully work eather. It boots into u-boot but no countdown and running 'boot' doesnt do much? NSA325> boot NSA325>by fgh - uBoot

OK! These settings doesnt give more output than one random character for, what i think is, every reboot. By the sound of the ide-disk it sounds like it is in a reboot-loop. Should I consider it bricked and lost?by fgh - uBoot
Thank you for such a fast reply. Well, after I found out the hard way the adapter I ordered doesnt work with the NSA325 Im now trying to access serial from my Raspberry Pi3. Ofcourse with no luck. I get a few random characters in console only. This Zyxelbox really testing my limits. :-)by fgh - uBoot
Thank you very much for pointing me in rigth direction! I've ordered a USB-TTL RS232 cable to hopefully be able to access serial console and make my NSA boot again.by fgh - uBoot

Im feeling very fragmented about the info on installing a Debian system on the NSA325. I would need a more straight forward howto to follow as my knowledge is too low to be able to put bits and peaces from here and there together. :( Also what serial cable should I have? Was hoping my DKU-5 cable that I use for my openwrt routers would work but it seems it does not.by fgh - uBoot
