Hello, I have been testing my Debianized NSA325v2 with OpenMediaVault for the last weeks and it works very well. When I set it up, I updated uBoot and hosted the rootfs on an external USB disk while keeping the original mdraid (mirror) on the internal HDDs. Now I would like to move the rootfs from the external USB disk to the internal HDDs. I am considering two options, a) moving everything iby l.scorcia - Debian
That's really helpful! Thanks!by l.scorcia - uBoot
Thanks for your reply! I agree, it's not really worth it. While I was there, I was also trying to change the USB led behavior from usb-host to usbport. I have my rootfs on usb1-port1 (back port nearest to the fan, kernel 5.15.5), and I wanted the USB led to be solid on when a device is plugged in one of the other ports. I was able to set it up, but there is something I don't understaby l.scorcia - Debian
Is it possible to emulate stock led behavior as follows? SATA: * if disk absent -> off * if disk present -> on * if activity -> blinkby l.scorcia - Debian
Thank you Bodhi! I completed the steps as described and it works great, no more CRC warning and now it uses the correct mac address. I also activated systemd using uEnv.txt and updated the kernel to the latest you published with no issues. I get a few warnings in dmesg but I guess those are alright: [ 9.096906] nand: device found, Manufacturer ID: 0xec, Chip ID: 0xf1 [ 9.104061] nand:by l.scorcia - uBoot
Hi, I followed the guide at https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,12381 to install the new uBoot in the mtd0 partition in order to boot Debian on my NSA325v2 from an USB stick. It works, but I have two questions: 1) While following the guide, I skipped step 8 (Flashing default u-boot envs image). I didn't flash it because my (stock) /etc/fw_env.config was different from what is described inby l.scorcia - uBoot
