I was just wondering, is it possible to define multiple ip-addresses as the serverip? I've got two machines which I use regularly to access my pogoplug and with the current configuration, only one can access the netconsole.by pogoomane - uBoot
Not that I know of, and I doubt we can expect anything from crashplan. Regardless, I'm still running crashplan on my Pogoplug using the above mentioned script.by pogoomane - Debian
Hi, thanks for your reply. I acutally worked my way around this problem, as described here: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,12854,12866#msg-12866 As I felt bad cross-posting, I didn't post it in this thread as well.by pogoomane - Rescue System
is there anything in /var/log/ on the usb stick?by pogoomane - Debian
I'm not sure, but if netconsole tells you "starting kernel", you might find something in the logs of the debian system. Plug it into another computer and check if you can find anything in the logs.by pogoomane - Debian
Same problem with the v2.8.2 rescue system. I installed Archlinux and was able to start the debian installscript from there. /update: Installing on archlinux failed with "W: Failure trying to run: chroot /tmp/debian mount -t proc proc /proc" After googling around, I found this thread http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,8722 Following the solution by sys64738 ("chmod 666 /usr/by pogoomane - Debian
Hi, Sorry for cross-posting, but maybe this forum is more adequate for my problem. I had a usb-stick going bad and now have to reinstall debian on my pogoplug v2. I have the rescue system v2 installed, but following the instructions from here http://projects.doozan.com/debian/ I get this error: rescue:/tmp# ./kirkwood.debian-wheezy.sh Your perl subsystem does not have support for $ENV{}by pogoomane - Debian

I got Crashplan running on my Pogoplug 2 running Debian wheezy using eas's script I had to edit a few minor changes: 1. apt-get instead of aptitude (first line) 2. tar -xf jtux.tar instead of tar -zxf jtux.tar.gz (fourth line) 3. used newest crashplan build: http://download.crashplan.com/installs/linux/install/CrashPlan/CrashPlan_3.5.3_Linux.tgz With these changes, the script workedby pogoomane - Debian

Hi, I'm trying to set up a NFS server on my Pogoplug v2 and can't get NFS 4.1 to work (which I need for Windows compatibility). From what I gather, NFS 4.1 should be supported by Debian wheezy, but on my Pogoplug it looks like it isn't: cat /proc/fs/nfsd/versions +2 +3 +4 -4.1 Is this a problem with the Kirkwood kernel or should I start asking around in "general"by pogoomane - Debian
Thank you! It worked! The pogoplug still lights up yellow, but I can SSH to it :D Thanks!by pogoomane - Debian
Hi syong, thanks for the reply. I tried following the instructions in the post you linked, but I couldn't find a "rescueme" file (tryed find -name rescueme on the pogoplug after mounting the first partition) and also, the pogoplug has neither apt-get nor mkimage installed... Should I try this from another device?by pogoomane - Debian
Ok, so I searched a bit more and came to realise, that my usb stick probably has nothing on it after the install script is done. At least /tmp/debian is empty, if I mount /dev/sda1 anywhere the resulting ls also gives nothing. I managed to set up the netconsole to debug the boot process, here is the result of the reboot after the install script is through: U-Boot 2011.12 (Feb 20 2012 -by pogoomane - Debian
Hi, I know I'm not the first one with this problem, but after following a couple of solutions from other threads etc. I still can't get my Pogoplug to boot debian. This is what I did: 1. I unpacked my brand new Pogoplug POGO-E02, registered at my.pogoplug.com, enabled SSH and checked which CPU I had - ARM5TE. 2. I followed these instructions and installed ArchARM http://archby pogoomane - Debian
