Yep that's it. -- No such file or directory. I will unmount and try again. I also noticed during partitioning there was a mmc_erase: erase error -110, status 0x0 and it discarded blocks, but partitioned OK, or so I thought. Thanks Bodhi, the only thing different I did was sync only once. Here was my process: Reboot linux Mint CTRL+ALT+F4 Login as root to command prompt #Partition SD Card fdisk /dev/mmcblk0 p # list current partitions o # to delete all partitions n # new partition p # primary partition 1 (one) # first partition <enter> # default start block <enter> # default end blockby Rhodess - uBoot
I followed this link to be able to boot my old Pogoplug EO4 from either an SD card or USB: Qnology PogoPlug Booting from SD All appears to be OK except it always keeps booting into the Popoplug. When I ssh into the device it is always the Pogoplug kernel. I tried different SanDisk SD cards and USB sticks to no avail, it always only boots to the Pogoplug. I'm having issues with my Pogoplug not always booting and I would appreciate some help/advice on the boot issues I'm having. It will not boot at all with the usb removed, just a green flashing light, it takes several attempts to boot with the usb attached, usually my ssh commands are rejected and I know it finally boots OK when I login using alarm/alarm. I'm using it to mount nby Rhodess - uBoot
