Sometimes, unreliable power supply will cause a lot of trouble... Get a good reliable 12v power supply to power the board..by daviddyer - uBoot

Well, I'm sure I'm correct... He is still running the stock linux, his file system is in the flash and I think it is Read only. I think he was running the command from his home directory as root /usr/sbin/nanddump --noecc --omitoob -l 0x80000 -f mtd0 /dev/mtd0 but he won't be able to create the file "mtd0" in his home directory since the file system is read onby daviddyer - uBoot
You need to mount a USB drive and execute the command there. The mtd0 dump file will be saved to the USB drive which is r/w.by daviddyer - uBoot
If he uses raspbian , he can just install the u-boot-tools package. kwboot is in the package.by daviddyer - uBoot
I used pi 0 to kwboot dreamplug clone (appneta m22) and it worked very well.by daviddyer - uBoot

If you want to run cups / avahi , better get a Rpi zero W. For $5, you get much better performance, much smaller foot print and less energy... Goflex home is a good general purpose NAS for home.by daviddyer - uBoot
As for Raspberry Pi / asterisk / google voice, there are already a lot of instructions... eg, https://hellbach.us/blog/tech/obi110-reuse-using-raspbx/ and just use this forums wiki to create nfs server on Kirkwood/debian for Rpi's root file system...by daviddyer - Off-Topic
I run raspbx on Rpi3B with NFS root (NFS root on Kirkwood box). Very stable.by daviddyer - Off-Topic
Well, I am still using the old unlocked Vonage PAP2 (in sipura 1001 firmware) together with RasPBX on Rpi3B. Obi110 can be another nice SIP adaptor if it finally drops off Google voice support.by daviddyer - Off-Topic
You can try a different USB port ... Also, if possible, open the PogoE02 and check the power supply (!!! Be careful of the high voltage!), or try to power it with a separate power supply.by daviddyer - Rescue System
cat /etc/fw_env.configby daviddyer - Debian
Yes. you can do it with Rpi zero W too, less power used than dockstar / pogoplugs. For 24 hour on device, 1w is about $1 for one year if price of electricity is about 12c/kwh.by daviddyer - Off-Topic
I was actually VERY close to Microcenter today, but I did not enter the store since its email said only Rpi 0 was $3.14, Rpi 0 W was $5. Tonight I checked the web site and found out Rpi 0 W is $3.14 also, but MicroCenter is 35 miles away now...by daviddyer - Off-Topic
A little off topic. But we mentioned something about this in this thread. Rpi zero and Rpi zero W are currently $3.14 (for Pi day promotion) in Microcenter local store now. Limit one at that price as usual. I guess you can also use them as JTAG tool for these small linux boxes. joerg_999 has some posts on this topic with Rpi 1,2 3.by daviddyer - Off-Topic
Hope we can run debian on these. :Pby daviddyer - Off-Topic
Anyone want to get a SD-MPE20142 to try can order from newegg with APCFEBSUBCI promo code. Final $17.59 with Newegg Premier free shipping.by daviddyer - Off-Topic
Well, it is too long for setenv command in uboot. Just try to boot into debian and use fw_setenv instead. Problem solved. :P Similar things happened to me before.by daviddyer - uBoot
Well, after checking / comparing the board with Dreamplug board pictures carefully, I decided to give up. A lot of components near the SATA port are also missing on the M22 board... Not just the esata port only. So it is just an enhanced version of dockstar with 512MB memory, better yet with kwboot capability.by daviddyer - uBoot
Well, I bought this M22 trying to replace the good old dockstar... but unlike dreamplug, it doesn't have SATA--which is I really want. So I think I will just put it there for some time, until I can find parts and try to add sata to it. :P Maybe I will cut a SATA cable and connect it to the board directly. :Pby daviddyer - uBoot
