Ray, Your understanding is incorrect. Sounds like you have not even been able to built uboot from the GitHub source. Have you?by bodhi - uBoot

Hey guys, Please post in English. If it is a output of Linux commands in your installation then it's is OK. But here we communicate in English for all other questions/answer/log...by bodhi - Debian

And since you need to change envs to boot reby bodhi - uBoot
hbelcher, It's not important if you don't plan to boot to stock OS (mtd4 is the stock rootfs). It does not affect anything in Debian.by bodhi - uBoot
fortis91, BTW. This should be: flash_erase /dev/mtd2 0 0 nandwrite -n /dev/mtd2 mtd2.dockstar Note the syntax error above with 2 dashes: --nby bodhi - uBoot
umd, Quoteand changed the ethaddr to the one on the bottom of the case (I assume that is the right one). You meant you changed it to the correct MAC at Debian prompt, using fw_setenv ? QuoteI figured it would have to be on the guest network to begin with so as not to be a possible breach to HIPPA (sp). Hope that is stringently enforced! Similar topic, the OPM system fisaco a few years ago, it was so poorly protected that was a joke.by bodhi - Off-Topic
Thanks Ray, Indeed, sheevaplug MMC was missing in u-boot-2016.05-tld-1. Not a lot of people have this plug, so nobody reported this before.by bodhi - uBoot

BTW, I don't have enough blocks of free time to work on this yet, but here what I got a few months ago. I was almost done with the new u-boot. Stock u-boot log: U-Boot 2011.06-02334-g8f495d9-dirty (Aug 18 2011 - 02:09:07) Marvell-DreamPlug SoC: Kirkwood 88F6281_A0 CPU running @ 1200Mhz L2 running @ 400Mhz SysClock = 400Mhz , TClock = 200Mhz DRAM: 512 MiB SF: Detected MX25by bodhi - Debian
Power up, interrupt serial console. Verify that you have the bootcmd defined like this (from default): bootcmd=run bootcmd_uenv; run scan_disk; run set_bootargs; run bootcmd_exec And now to boot stock when no USB rootfs plugged in: setenv pogo_bootcmd 'if fsload uboot-original-mtd0.kwb; then go 0x800200; fi' setenv bootcmd 'run bootcmd_uenv; run scan_disk; run set_bootby bodhi - uBoot
fortis91, > This fixed booting the rootfs from USB Cool! Of course it can't boot stock OS without retrofitting the envs set up that you had previously. You have flashed a new default envs that come with the new u-boot. Let's go back a few posts and find it.by bodhi - uBoot

I have a whole bunch of these. They work right out of the box for the Dreamplug and HP T5325. I'll find the ebay US link for you.by bodhi - Debian
fortis91, Remember that the rootfs that you've created was to boot with stock u-boot. So step 4 was needed to append the DTB: Quote4. Create uImage with embedded DTB for booting with older u-boots (2012 or earlier). Skip this step if you have installed the latest U-Boot for Kirkwood (or are installing this u-boot at the same time). Ray, Cool! I'd like to add your mod to the Wiki. Please post: - Brand and model. - If you can post the pic of the card installed on the board, it would be nice. - output of dmesg. Later, if you get performance benchmarks, then add to the same post. Thanks!by bodhi - Off-Topic
