@davidalfa, congratulation and thank you for sharing such an excellent project. BTW, you can use this F3 - an alternative to h2testw (a simple console) program to test your SATA disk and see its R/W performance.by habibie - Debian
Wow ... this is an excellent project. I hope you will get it working in no time. Good luck.by habibie - Debian

Joey, TBH, I have not much idea about any class D amp. However, I stumbled upon this HIFI Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 TPA3116 Digital Power Audio Amplifier board TPA3116D2 50WX2 Stereo AMP Amplificador Home Theater and this TDA7297 amplifier board digital amplifier board dual-channel amplifier board finished no noise 12V dual 15W (A type). I was lurking around for some inexpensive pre-paid Android smartphones and stumbled upon this Cricket Wireless Samsung Galaxy A01 16GB from Walmart. The specs indicate it's an octa-core system with 2GB RAM. For a US $30 (with a free local pick up), I thought it may not be a bad idea to grab one and then flash it with LineageOS, but the device doesn't seem to be listed on its website. Currently, NewEgg has a sale on this WD Blue 4TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD40EZAZ US $84.99 + Free S/H - US $5 (promo code: EMCEXET26) = US $79.99. TBH, I don't know how good and/or reliable the above HDD. However, I presume it is a low-powered HDD with 5,400 RPM and it should be good for an old Seagate GoFLEX/Home NAS.by habibie - Off-Topic
I thought to share the following here. I am not much of an LED TV, yet. However, I have seen this HUAWEI Vision S launch Show - Beyond a TV promo video and thought that's pretty good piece of a digital TV screen, especially under RM $4,000 (for 65") or about US $1,000, see the current exchange rate (about US $1 = RM $4). Joe, If you have a powerful computer with lots of RAM, i.e. 8+ GB), feel free to give kdenlive a try. TBH, I prefer avidemux for its simplicity and/or lightweight. FYI, there is also some video mixer OSS (VoctoMix) and/or webcam OSS (Webcamoid) that may interest you, too. Hello Joe, I'm not sure what exactly did you mean by rendering. Did you mean a video transcoding? Anyway, if your camera captured some decent moments in a video format, i.e. AVI, MPEG, etc., and you wan to video transcode them into other video formats, the free and/or open-source software (OSS) with a nice GUI, i.e. Avidemux, will probably be your friend. For a CLI OSS, you can also trby habibie - Off-Topic
