For a total of $31, I would rather get this 64-bit Octa Core RK3368 CSA90 Andriod 5.1 Smart TV Box and start hacking it to run Linux. If this 64-bit Octa Core RK3368 Z68 Smart Android 5.1 TV Box PC with 2G/16GB + 5G + Bluetooth is not a scam, then it will even be a better choice, i.e. get 2 units with some $$ to spare and hack 1 unit to run Linux while enjoying the other unit what it can offer, eby habibie - Off-Topic
I have a non-immediate plan for building and/or assembling my own DC power source from readily available inexpensive parts. Basically, my plan uses a 12 VDC car battery to provide some 5 VDC and/or 12 VDC outlets. The later is a straightforward while the former requires any 12 VDC to 5 VDC step-down converter with a proper Ampere rating, i.e. any Universal USB Car Charger (along with an initial Cby habibie - Off-Topic
I was lurking around and came about this Logitech Revue with Google TV: Hands-On Review. According to this Logitech Revue with Google TV review, it is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel CE4100 Atom-based media chip (45nm single core?) and has 1 / 5 GB of RAM / internal storage, respectively. Would not it be a good candidate to run Linux? What do you all think?by habibie - Off-Topic
This inexpensive AIEK Q1 Ultra-thin Card Phone, US $13.99 + FREE SHIPPING to US Via Unregistered Air Mail, seems to have 1-core CPU with 128 MB RAM. The least expensive I found is from this eBay seller (but a different model C6). Too bad, it does not have a WiFi capability. Otherwise, it may be a target for anyone here is interested to hack / run any Linux OS and make it compatible to any SIP phoby habibie - Off-Topic

Hello Joey, I don't know much about this device, except it is just a Network Video Recorder (NVR). I don't know how it works, yet. I hope Gravelrash will get his and let us know more in the future.by habibie - Off-Topic

Just a thought: Instead of doing this Hackable a Quad Core with 1 Gb ram and 8gb storage, would not it be simpler for some to get this Orange Pi One US $17.07 + Free S/H to run Linux OS. This unit only has a 512 MB RAM with 0 MB internal storage.by habibie - Off-Topic

Joey, AFAIK, Amlogic S905 SoC is a 4-core 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 based CPU. You will be able to find some information on how to replace its original (stock) uboot with a 3-rd party uboot, i.e. Step by Step Instructions on How to Install Openelec on MXQ Pro+ Dual Boot Via SD Card (will also work for S905 SoC), etc., so that you can make it to dual boot with an Android (stock) and a Linux (on anby habibie - Allwinner A10
For AV port, I finally managed to get my S905 TV Box to work using my old analog NTSC TV set through its AV port with some helps from folks @RedFlagDeals forum as shown in my post. As you can see, the AV port is not broken, but just factory configured for a PAL mode. I am still looking to fix the bluetooth issue and hope it too is just factory misconfigured and/or missing the Linux bluetooth drivby habibie - Allwinner A10

Just wanted to pass along. Today (8/25/16) only, AliExpress has this A95 NEXBOX TV Box Android 5.1 Kodi 16.0 Pre installed Amlogic S905 Quad Core 1GB RAM 8GB Flash US $22.76 + a FREE S/H. This is the lowest price for an Android S905 TV Box I have ever seen from an AliExpress so far. If you need one, grab it before the offer expires by the end of the day. I received this through an e-mail subscription yesterday and don't know if this Sunvell T95X Amlogic S905X Set-top Box 4K x 2K H.265 2.4G WiFi Android 6.0 (US D$24.99 + FREE S/H to a US address) is a good deal or not, but just wanted to pass along. This uses an S905X (instead of S905) CPU. The one I have uses an S905 and the images and/or videos look really good, AFAICT. Anyway, here is theby habibie - Off-Topic

This Z68 RK3368 TV Box Octa Core Android 5.1 BT 4.0 2GB 16GB Set top Box US $6.17 is ridiculously low that the offer does not even make any sense at all. The seller also has this 4K HD Smart TV Box S905 MXQ Pro XBMC Fully Loaded Android5.1 Quad Core US $5.09. The difference between the two is about US $1.08. I saw this Openbox V8S Digital Freesat PVR Full HD and wonder what can one do with this? What I meant is if there is any open and/or free satellite TV feeds one can use with this device to enjoy for free? If so, then it really is not bad. Otherwise, it would probably be just a waste of money. I noticed it says to support Youporn, Weather Forecast, WEB TV etc. Are these free satellite TV channelsby habibie - Off-Topic
