What terminal emulation are you using? Set it to Xterm and see if that solves it.by Frederick Grayson - Rescue System

Have a pic of that button? I don't recall seeing it and I have been inside half a dozen E02s.by Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic
That's surprising. I installed a switch on the power cord, because after using the halt or poweroff commands you need to power cycle it to turn it on again. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-5-Pcs-AC-250V-125V-2A-Black-Plasic-ON-OFF-Buon-In-Line-Cord-Swiches-/321590778100?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ae04dd8f4 On a related topic - do the Pogos support WOL?by Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic
I've bought quite a few Pogo E02 on ebay. If the ad doesn't explicitly state what model it is, I ask for a pic of the bottom of the foot where the actual model number is located on the label. So far I have asked for this five times and never was denied. But I only won two of the auctions :( I also bought two Pink B01 Pogos from Adorama because the rumor at the time was that they wereby Frederick Grayson - Debian
LOL. In that case you don't even need ssh access. You should be able to connect via telepathy ;)by Frederick Grayson - Debian
I'm of the opinion that best practice is to disable root ssh logins, and login as a regular unprivileged user. If root access is required, then su to root from within the unprivileged user shell. Another way to solve the problem would be to mount the disk on another Linux machine, edit the /etc/sshd_conf file and change the line for PermitRootLogin no to PermitRootLogin yes Asby Frederick Grayson - Debian
Do you have serial port access? If so, login as root there to a shell and add a new user. Or you can take disk to another Linux machine, mount it as root and then copy some regular user's data from that machine's /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow files to the same files on the mounted disk. Then shutdown the machine and return the disk to the other machine, boot it and log in as the copiedby Frederick Grayson - Debian
One thing that could be investigated if requiring two or more interfaces in the same machine belonging to the same network at the same time is "bridging interfaces." The bridged interfaces are not numbered but are joined to the numbered interface in the network sense, so both work simultaneously. Worth a look.by Frederick Grayson - Debian

Kindly explain your configuration in further detail and what tests you have done to show that it works.by Frederick Grayson - Debian
You're mistaken. And it's both hardware and OS independent. Plug two network adapters into the same machine and assign them to the same network. You are now in ambiguous configuration. One or the other, or possibly both adapters will not work. Answer this question: A packet generated by the OS needs to go to another machine on the same network. Which adapter does it go out on? Are you saying you can have two interfaces active at the same time in the same network in the same machine?by Frederick Grayson - Debian
Your allow= statement is wrong. You should delete it and restart Webmin. If you still can't connect to Webmin, there are several possible reasons why not, in addition to an incorrect allow= statement, including but not limited to: 1) Webmin isn't running. Run the following command in a shell on the E02 to see: ps aux | grep webmin 2) Webmin not bound to a routable IP addressby Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic

There is adequate information in the URLs I posted to get Debian installed to a Pogoplug E02. But as bodhi implied, you have to know what you are doing. I just took the appropriate information and installed Debian to a fresh USB stick and it booted fine.by Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic
I used either this HOWTO but only the Debian install section: http://blog.qnology.com/2014/07/hacking-pogoplug-v4-series-4-and-mobile.html Or this script: http://www.vinnymac.org/scripts/pogoplug/kirkwood.debian-wheezy.sh It's been a long time, so I don't remember for sure.by Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic
I am running Debian Wheezy with kernel 3.14.0-kirkwood-tld-1 on a Pogoplug E02 and Webmin is fine on it. It's the full version available from webmin.com, not a watered down ALARM package.by Frederick Grayson - Off-Topic
