If you need to be able to download Stock OS and Debian OS from a USB stick then you should use two boot loaders the old marwell 3.4.14 and the new Bodhi 2017.05.

Now when the USB stick is inserted, Debian OS will boot, if the USB stick is removed, Stock OS will boot.
