My DockStar - Have I killed it?

Hey, thanks for your effort to put life into those small boxes....anyway seems mine is killed now.
I was first installing on usb drives then tried to install to nand.
After getting nand errors I've tried to do nand erase from U-boot (dunno why :-) and my DockStar is not giving any signs of life.
No led, nothing on serial!

Please help, I really like this piece of gear!

You'll need to recover the dockstar through JTAG since nand was erased

Thanks Dpffan!

I'd need to get one then...is there some good tutorial around on how to use JTAG? this would be something totally new.

Will J-Link (USB one) be fine??
Thanks for help, I'll be informing about progress after buying JTAG

I've personally used this guide for Bus Pirate: http://plume.redox.ws/article13/dockstar-debricking-jtag-with-buspirate

The information for other JTAG adapters are buried in this thread.http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=195

Seems like this guy consolidated all the information available on dockstar JTAG here:

Hi reverbrick,

Were you able to recover your dockstar?
A have already went through these guides with no luck.

Thanks,
Zsolt
