I can`t boot my Goflex net
December 04, 2018 07:20AM
Hello. For some time trying to install Debian on GoFlex Net and do not succeed. Can anyone guide me? At the moment I created a falsh with a rescue linux system on which I can boot. U-Boot, is updated with the version "U-Boot 2017.07-tld-1 (Sep 05 2017 - 00:17:19 -0700)".
If I start the device without the flash USB then it goes into the loop.

If I boot from USB flash drive then it loads the rescue system. Then follow the linux debian installation procedure, which does not run until the end.

This script will replace the bootloader on /dev/mtd0.

If you lose power while the bootloader is being flashed,
your device could be left in an unusable state.

This script will configure your Dockstar to boot Debian
from a USB device. Before running this script, you should have
used fdisk to create the following partitions:

/dev/sda1 (Linux ext2, at least 400MB)
/dev/sda2 (Linux swap, recommended 256MB)

This script will DESTROY ALL EXISTING DATA on /dev/sda1
Please double check that the device on /dev/sda1 is the correct device.

By typing ok, you agree to assume all liabilities and risks
associated with running this installer.

If everything looks good, type 'ok' to continue: ok

1. Create the USB rootfs using the tarball Debian-4.12.1-kirkwood-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 as instructed (follow the instruction very closely, especially being root user, no sudo):

The instruction starts at

You have missed an important step during flashing the U-Boot 2017.07-tld-1.

8. Flashing default u-boot envs image (if you are upgrading from 2016.05-tld-1 u-boot, you can skip this step 8).

To populate the default envs correctly in serial console, see this post:
