I installed mpd and mpc on the goflex home (without pulseaudio or alsa installed or an attached sound card) and was able to connect to mpd and stream with icecast but the cpu times where up around 97-98% with 25% mem which made it intermittent. I realize that re-encoding is cpu intensive.
Has anyone had any luck with getting mpd to stream icecast on any of the Kirkwood machines?
