Hi. I really can't unerstand this. The debian-dockstar boots and runs without problems. I can mount (while running) and use an external HDD without problems. BUT when i reboot the debain only boots when i delete the UUID-entry in the fstab. It doesn't matter if the HDD is connected or not. blkid root@server:~# blkid /dev/sda1: LABEL="WD" UUID="ac1592e4-c31by moddy - Debian
Hello. Last weekend i updated my both dockstars to DEBIAN WHEEZY and to KERNEL 3.9.5. On both dockstars debian is installed on 4GB-USB-Sticks. I did it this way: upgrade to debian wheezy Kernelupgrade Although they were updated the exactt same way, only one of the 2 dockstars works fine. The other one falls kind of asleep. The orange flashing LED stops flashing (is off) and the USB-Lby moddy - Debian
Hi. I got another dockstar and tried to install debian Squeeze with Jeff's script, but this time it does not work. I used the netconsole from my firsz dochstar and this is how it boots: root@dockstar:~# nc -l -u -p 6666 U-Boot 2011.12 (Feb 12 2012 - 21:33:07) Seagate FreeAgent DockStar arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc (Sourcery G++ Lite 2009q3-67) 4.4.1 GNU ld (Sourcery G++ Lite 2009q3-by moddy - Debian

Hi. since about a year, I am using three dockstars with debian and the dockstars work incredible solid. Now i bought two pogoplugs (P24/V3) for only 25 € (both) and i want them to replace the dockstars, because there is more memory inside. First i discovered the arch linux project for the pogoplug, but i also read a lot of trouble and problems. I know about the quality of jeff's debby moddy - Debian
Hi. That's it. I only had an SATA-to-USB-Cable between dockstar and (USB-)HDD which really seemed to be too slow. Now i changed it with a Case with another controller in it and voilà: it works no matter if hard- or soft-reboot. Thanks for your support... :)by moddy - Debian
Hi. First: Thank you Jeff for your amazing script. I installed debian on three dockstars. The both with the debian on an USB-Stick work fine, but the one with an external USB-HDD makes problems. It is may be easy to solve but i could not find the soulution in this forum. Problem: When i make a hard-reset (I plug the power-cable) the debian won`t boot. There is only the pogoplug-OS. onlby moddy - Debian
