I've updated the instruction to add step 5: https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,66989,67269#msg-67269 Quote5. To make it permannently boot into Debian rootfs on USB, and boot to stock OS when the USB rootfs is not attached: fw_setenv set_bootargs 'setenv bootargs console=ttyS0,115200 root=LABEL=rootfs rootdelay=10 ${mtdparts} earlyprintk=serial' fw_setenv bootcmd_usb &by bodhi - Debian

All, I have not have time to open up my Wyse T10. I'm doing all testing on my HP T5335z, so I'd suggest we all do the same to make it easier..by bodhi - Debian

LinAdmin, I'm not convinced that this u-boot can't handle GPT. From what you said, this u-boot is the same as other WD MyCould and Zyxel Armada boxes. It is circa 2013 and I don't recall GPT was a problem. GPIO button There is a "USB-recover" button. This button will trigger the USB recovery during stock u-boot booting. Do we know where is this button? the only one that I can see outside the case is the Power button.by bodhi - Debian
@ CyberPK, I do agree with LinAdmin about not to put Debian on NAND flash. However, to me it is more important that when you run your Linux distribution on NAND, it tends to be unsecure. IOW, you will not update your system to get security patches as often as when it is on USB or SATA.by bodhi - Debian

This instruction has been updated to reflect the latest kernel and rootfs. ================ Here is how to boot Debian on the HP T5335z. 1. On another Linux box. Download Debian-5.2.9-mvebu-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 from the release thread, create the USB rootfs (or use your existing MVEBU rootfs if you have one before for other boxes). 2.
