bobafetthotmail, I don't think Kirkwood 6281 suports it. Was that from Marvell literature somewhere? Even if it did, I think we have to write a bunch of specific code to tell the DDR controller, too.by bodhi - uBoot
> but the actual one lacks support of mke2fs while > the former (smaller) did... Right! it did not work on all boxes (kirkwood and oxnas plugs), so I removed it. To do that I'll need to compile e2fsprog as static bin. I think the binpack is good enough for installation now. When I have some free time I will recompile e2fsprog.by bodhi - uBoot

Hi bob, I know it's a little bit more works to download it from a secure site such as Dropbox, but that's was my intention. At this day and age, I would only go to https site to download something. And to make it a little more secure, I've also intentionally kept the hash checksum for the download files on this site (but not providing it at Dropbox).by bodhi - uBoot
armless, You are running Jeff's u-boot image circa 2010, booting USB rootfs. You are not really chainloading anything normally. Except if you unplug the USB drive then it will chainload the stock u-boot to boot back to stock. pogo_bootcmd=if fsload uboot-original-mtd0.kwb; then go 0x800200; fi To restore stock u-boot, just flash the uboot-original-mtd0.kwb to mtd0. That's it. Tby bodhi - uBoot

Thanks auzn, I'l make a note in the mini wiki thread for these hints!by bodhi - Debian
jay, I've updated the tools, please download, try and report.by bodhi - uBoot
jay, You should connect serial console. This Pogo V3 is easy since it has the serial header already installed.by bodhi - Debian

I've updated the instruction (step 2) to get rid of the NAND checksum errors during stock OS booting.by bodhi - Rescue System

No, the backup from Leggo was only for u-boot. Not sure if I saved the original NAND rootfs somewhere. Will have to look. Worse case, I'll nanddump it and provide it as a modded OS image for rescue. jay, So you are familiar with this, then should try ubifs mkdir /tmp/pogoroot mknod /dev/mtdblock1 b 31 1 mount -t ubifs -o ro /dev/mtdblock1 /tmp/pogoroot/ And keep it RO until you are sure it looks ok. Warning: make a backup with nanddump first before mounting RW (emphasis: even just mounting alone could screw up the file system) Another warning: fs systems setting could be diffeby bodhi - Debian
jay, I could not find in my logs. So I'll have to write new ones and try it on my V3. In the mean time, you should get these info in Debian: uname -a cat /proc/cmdline cat /proc/mtd ls -l /dev/mtd* dmesg | grep '"'by bodhi - Debian

I can find in my log for you. But why bother about stock FW if you already boot latest Debian ?by bodhi - Debian

Just go back to sysvinit. And you can always boot systemd whenever you feel like it later. To go back to sysvinit apt-get install sysvinit-core sysvinit sysvinit-utilsby bodhi - Debian
> update performed. > seems like pogo has no update for the oxnas pogo > :-( Yup. They already phased out free Pogo service. There is no work around for this. If you can't enable SSH using the web page, then port 22 is not open. And if port 22 is not open then there is no way to log in other than serial console.by bodhi - Debian
jay, Debian-3.17.0-oxnas-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 is still wheezy. So when you upgrade to jessie, you will need to 1. Install the latest kernel 4.1 in the 1st post. Make sure it works first. 2. change apt source list (adjust the mirror to your location) cat /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian jessie main deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates mainby bodhi - Debian

jay, If you have flashed uboot.2013.10-tld-5.ox820.environment.img then the boot option is automatic. However, to make sure it boot SATA first fw_setenv devices 'ide usb' or only boot SATA fw_setenv devices 'ide'by bodhi - uBoot

Joey, Yes. Allwiner produces SoCs which are based on ARM architecture. Just as Marvell(plugs) Amlogic, Broadcomm ( rPi), Mediatek, TI, .... SoCs are ARM.by bodhi - Off-Topic
