For people like me that never own any orange pi before, do I need to order the power cable/lead or I can pick it up at other place? Thanks.by funtoy1001 - Allwinner A10
Will not get the Orange PI. Signed up to the orange forum (orangepi.org) more than a day ago but no activation email. Email to web admin bounced.by funtoy1001 - Allwinner A10
Maybe I will get an Orange Pi. Seems to have more activities than CHIP.by funtoy1001 - Allwinner A10
CHIP + composite cable is just over $21 when shipping charge is added to ship to Calif. The "case" is $2 moreby funtoy1001 - Allwinner A10

I notice the price of the USB powered drives have came down in price a lot and is thinking about getting one for my Dockstar as a data storage device. Are they as reliable as the 3.5" drive?by funtoy1001 - Debian
I followed the instrucitons from http://dantheman2865.com/blog/2013/01/asterisk-11-google-voice/ to modify my conf files and able to dial out and receive calls. Will need to do more testing...by funtoy1001 - Debian
When you say GV continues to work with Asterisk 11 and its original module, does that mean you don't to have to create motif.conf & rtp.conf? From Google search, it seems like the 2 are the ones I need to add for Asterisk 11. ETA: I am half way there. After adding motif.conf & rtp.conf, I have outgoing call working.by funtoy1001 - Debian
I upgraded my Dockstar from wheeze to jessie today. As part of the upgrade, asterisk 1.8 is change to 11.13.1. After the upgrade, google voice with asterisk doesn't work anymore. I got the following messages when I tried an outgoing call: WARNING[3292]: channel.c:6000 ast_request: No channel type registered for 'Gtalk' WARNING[3292]: app_dial.c:2437 dial_exec_full: Unable toby funtoy1001 - Debian

Any personal experience on how long a life a USB stick lasts? I think mine is over a year or two already.by funtoy1001 - Debian
Tried to install Wheezy on a new USB stick with instructions from http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,8722 and got error message: "FATAL: kernel too old" on my Dockstar. One workaround is to update the kernel on MTD1. My question is how the kernel on MTD1 affects the installation of Wheezy on a USB stick? Does wheezy use modules from the kernel? Thanks.by funtoy1001 - Debian

Now the dockstar has internet access. For some reason the router was trying to assign the same IP address to another device. Can the MAC address of the Dockstar be changed because I erased MTD1 & MTD2? I guess what I need to do now is to restore MTD1 & MTD 2.by funtoy1001 - Debian

Bump... Anyway to check why it doesn't have web access? I can SSH in but it took several second before I see the password prompt. If I delete /etc/resolv.conf and restart the network, no password prompt delay when I ssh in but still no net access.by funtoy1001 - Debian

While I can ssh into the unit, it does not have net access.by funtoy1001 - Debian
I guess I am really messed it up. Was trying to put rescue system v2 (http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?4,3896) on and didn't work. After power cycle, it will boot my USB stick but I can't SSH into it if I unplug all the USB device. I have the following from net console...
