Jörg, You've used the wrong section in the installation thead :) Here is the rootfs section that you need to follow: QuoteUpdated 20 Feb 2016: This Debian-4.4.0-kirkwood-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2 is to keep in sync with kernel Linux-4.4.0-kirkwood-tld-1. nielsek, At the moment, I think the MAC address stored in the NIC itself is the problem (or one of the problems) with WOL. I think it is time for me to seriously look at how to make stock u-boot deal with the DTB correctly. Stock u-boot can deal with DTB, but its code was an pretty old version so I had to force it not to pass it to the kernel. Or I need to start building new u-bootby bodhi - Debian
Jörg By what you've posted above (which is the wrong thing to do on Ubuntu), I'm certain that you've did not create the rootfs correctly. Please post the entire Ubuntu session log while you are creating the Debian rootfs. And post everything. Meaning from the first command to become root and extract the tarball...by bodhi - uBoot

nielsek, > yes, "poweroff" was used. What do you see in dmesg when you power off? On one terminal, connect serial console, and on 2nd terminal poweroff This way you would capture everything that the kernel does during power off. One thing that I have not figured out is how turn on the ethernet LED light correctly, so I need all the info I can get from a different boxby bodhi - Debian

In case you've been wondering. The basic rootfs that I've relased for Marvell MVEBU boxes: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,32146 can also be used in other small boards that have armv7 hardfloat such as rPi, ODROID,... Jörg, No, it is not corrupted. The new u-boot will boot stock Pogo OS but with you need to have more envs to set it up. Your new u-boot installation was OK, nothing wrong with it. The USB drive itself is the booting problem (But you could use it as a data drive). Find a better USB flash drive, and create new rootfs on it. My experience: Sandisk flash drives is the best for booting. Kingby bodhi - uBoot
