I"ve got three Dockstars running ARMedSlack, all with the rescue system. The rescue system will replace the stock plug OS. I installed the rescue system first so I did not have any usb sticks or drives connected when running the rescue system's installer script. I just booted into the stock plug os and followed Jeff's instructions from there.by laprjns - Rescue System

Maybe this, http://www.plugapps.com/index.php5/Hardware:_Seagate_DockStar_Reflashing But, if you don't have any special need for the original Pogo firmware, I would just install Jeff's Rescue System.by laprjns - uBoot

Re-install the rescue system. The tar function in the your current rescue system doesn't support the -z option. See here http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?4,1133,1133#msg-1133by laprjns - Rescue System
hi gorgone, I tried looking for your latest kernel config file for 2.6.37, but was unable to find it. Would it be possible to post a link to it. I would like to build a customer kernel for my dockstar running ArmedSlack Thanks Richby laprjns - Debian

Hi all, I've got the Rescue System installed in my dockstar and although I have no problems booting into an os (the rescue system, plugbox and armedslack) I do get a few errors messages during the early uboot startup. I'm just asking if there is anything wrong here and how would I go about fixing it. Here's the output from my serial connection (it's the three UBI errors jby laprjns - Rescue System

Hi all, I made some progress on this, but still cannot boot a kernel image from the either nand or usb. I tried to reflash the original pogo software following these directions; http://plugapps.com/index.php5?title=Hardware:_Seagate_DockStar_Reflashing, but I get an alignment error. I have been able to install and boot armedslack by doing this: Now download the Kernel and Slackware ARM iby laprjns - Rescue System
Hey all, I have a Dockstar that was running armedSlack just fine when I decided to give the Rescue System a try. The install seem to go fine, but on first boot it couldn't fine the kernel image. This is what I'm getting out of the serial port: Marvell>> U-Boot 2010.09 (Oct 23 2010 - 11:49:22) Marvell-Dockstar/Pogoplug by Jeff Doozan SoC: Kirkwood 88F6281_A0 DRAby laprjns - Rescue System
