woody, To avoid mistake that could lock out users, I've set netconsole to this default: preboot_nc=run if_netconsole start_netconsole To activate netconsole, set the preboot env in Arch: fw_setenv preboot 'run preboot_nc' Be careful doing this (copy and paste is best).
