I just tried iperf. On my server (PogoPLug Pro 02) running LEDE, I get the following result and I don't really know how good/bad the performance is, TBH. root@lede:~# iperf -s ------------------------------------------------------------ Server listening on TCP port 5001 TCP window size: 85.3 KByte (default) ------------------------------------------------------------ [ 4] local 10.0.0by habibie - Off-Topic
I would like to know what software do you use to test your NFS performance on your client (Linux) computer when mounting your NFS drive from your PogoPlug Pro. Also, what are the maximum R/W throughputs you will get.by habibie - Off-Topic

I thought Android Lollipop only supports a 64-bit ARM platform.by habibie - Off-Topic
Apparently, Walmart has this RCA Viking Pro 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet 32GB Quad Core (RCT6303W87DKF C) + a detachable keyboard under US $80. It runs on an Android 5.0 (Lollipop). So, it must be a 64-bit 4-core CPU (sorry no brand/model of the CPU found).by habibie - Off-Topic
I have no interest in this, but rather just wanted to pass along for anyone who is interested in building an AMD 2-core computer with a Mini iTX mobo. Currently, NewEgg has this ECS E1-2100 AMD Dual Core Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo (KBN-I/2100) for $49.99 - $15 w/ promo code MBL160504A - $15 Rebate = $19.99 when checkout via Newegg Mobile Site. @Gravelrash: When I posted the offended statement, I never had such a thought. All I could think was everything OFF-Topic goes here. Regardless, I completely agree with your vision and let's all keep, not only this sub-forum, but all sub-forums clean like you said in your post above. @bodhi: The Huawei HUAY538ABB specs from CNET clearly indicates it has a support for CDMA2000 1X / GSM /by habibie - Off-Topic

@Joey I have noticed this kind of sale behaviour. Just give it another 24 hrs and the price shall be back to normal.by habibie - Off-Topic
@JoeY I just checked and it's still $9.99.by habibie - Off-Topic
Sorry that I can't help you on this. However, if I were to invest my $$$ on any computers, I certainly would stay away from any processor made by AllWinner. Also, if you order from DX and the item gets shipped directly from China, then perhaps you ought to check out AliExpress site as well as ebay. Chances are, you will find more varieties @ a lower price.by habibie - Off-Topic
Currently, BestBuy has this PNY - DUO-LINK On-the-Go 64GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive under US $10 + free S/H to any US address. I will need to shell out some $$$ in order to use this on a computer. :( I just wished BB had a 64 GB microSD card on sale at this price or lower.by habibie - Off-Topic
I went back to peruse my OP and noticed I screwed up in the CPU + Android OS. For instance, the Huawei is supposed to have a Qualcomm MSM8909 processor with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Sorry about that. For me, I would prefer to get a 64-bit capable CPU that runs on an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. In this case, it would be the Huawei smartphone sans a front camera. However, if you plan to use this Huby habibie - Off-Topic

@GraveIrash, I checked with the USPS and its cost to ship to UK is about US $22.50 (First-Class International Options). Definitely not feasible.by habibie - Off-Topic
One might want to couple any of the Android smartphones with this Google Cardboard 3D Movie Glasses VR BOX II 2.0+Bluetooth Remote Controller + Kodi to stream music and/or movies.by habibie - Off-Topic
I noticed BestBuy currently has dropped some low-end 4-core Android smartphones to under US $10. I wonder if anyone out here wants to grab and start hacking it to run debiarm OS and uses it for something else other than a cell and/or WiFi phone. It could be caused by some programs with some sort of memory leaks that start to drain the available RAM. When a system runs out of RAM, a lot of things can happen.by habibie - Off-Topic
@Bodhi: On 3/20/16, OpenWRT has switched to use their new image generation template for the OXNAS platform. This new image generation template scheme no longer supports creation of both zImage and uImage files (and among others). As I mentioned in my post, perhaps we ought to start looking into updating uboot to include the FIT capability to support using the fit-pogoplug-pro.itb and fit-pogopby habibie - uBoot

@Joey, Perhaps, you can 1st do some sort of bargaining with this one. For instance, ask if the seller is willing to drop the price to $2/pcs if you place an order of 1+ pcs.by habibie - Off-Topic
Finally, I received this MINI 5 Gbps super speed USB3 micro SD/SDXC TF card reader after a period of 3 weeks waiting for the shipment to arrive. Not only this card reader looks and feels better than this one I have, but it costs a few cents less and does support R/W both cards concurrently. Now, I can mount to read/write both microSD and TF cards concurrently. Also, there is a built-in springy haby habibie - Off-Topic
