Thank you Gravelrash, I think I will do that. And when running VM I see no need for the use of docker :)by Fotex - Off-Topic
Hey Guys. I have an Ubuntu 18.04 server running for some time, but upgraded server and decided, to try spinning it up on Esxi. The VM converter, standalone does not support Ubuntu 18.04, so it fails to convert the server to VM. Can it be a solution to make a docker image of the old server and run it on a new Ubuntu install in the vm? Any other thoughts?by Fotex - Off-Topic
Hey folks I hope someone can help me with this. I have been trying to grow an existing raid5. The raid was 3 x 6TB disks and I added another 6tb disk, growing went fine and setting mdadm devices= 4 went fine. When trying to resize md1 it complains about the size of the raid. So I downloaded and installed e2fsprogs-1.43.4. (https://askubuntu.com/questions/779754/how-do-i-resize-an-ext4-parby Fotex - Off-Topic

Have any of you done something alike? and what tablet did you use? and how did you do it? If it can be done, are there any specifications to look for when choosing the tablet? It is ubuntu server, but I have installed gui because Teamviewer needed it run.by Fotex - Off-Topic
The server is a headless box placed in a closet. My laptop is just one of the devices that also looses connection when this happens. I found the syslog from last time I had the problem and I know it was arround Apr 22 18.~ I have the compressed dmesg from that week, but they got no timestamp. Is there a way to work arround that and locate the wanted file?by Fotex - Off-Topic
The server is some how killing the router / entire network, i cant access anything when this happens. The laptop shows connected to the router but nothing is working. (No ping respond) The server is an i5-2400by Fotex - Off-Topic

Hey Yes I followed the instruction from 2 september 14 to make the usb containing rootfs from 3.16-kirkwood-tld-2 But Im unsure how to set the env for uboot. This is the printenv: __ __ _ _ | \/ | __ _ _ ____ _____| | | | |\/| |/ _` | '__\ \ / / _ \ | | | | | | (_| | | \ V / __/ | | |_| |_|\__,_|_| \_/ \___by Fotex - Debian
Hey Can I make your script do the config of uboot, im not sure how to adjust it myself. (and if it can, do I need more than one usbstick?). I only got one 16gb containing the rootfs 3.16-kirkwood-tld-2 The box is a A203 running U-Boot 1.1.4 (Feb 22 2011 - 10:31:35) Marvell version: 3.4.19 Or is it simple to set the u-boot envs? I did set this setenv mainlineLinux yes setenv arcNumbeby Fotex - Debian
Hey Thanks for your reply Im not quite sure, but if I get this right I have to make the uimage and initrd from linux-3.16.0-kirkwood-tld-3-bodhi.tar.bz2? Can I do that when my nsa cant boot standard firmware? (I have usb>ttl access to the box) Jakob Vejlbjergby Fotex - Debian
