what do you mean by interrupt the serial console ? Do you mean to exit minicom ? or do you mean to stop the boot ?by BillyIT - Debian

For my disk, on DSM, i delete all volume groups and the 4 disks are without any errors, healthyby BillyIT - Debian
I want to try to format the first disk (only two disks inserted) but either if i'm able to boot (with 3 or 4 i can't, i'm blocked in a loop) but there is no hdd detected and sometimes i have this error : root@debian:~# fdisk -l Disk /dev/mtdblock0: 512 KiB, 524288 bytes, 1024 sectors Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytesby BillyIT - Debian
i don't have : ide reset ide usb start with my u-boot Is it simple to update u-boot ? how do you save the old u-boot to restore if it's not working ?by BillyIT - Debian
There is something that annoyed me but maybe we can't find why ? The mac address seems to be different when booting on debian because my dhcp doesn't give my nas the ip reserved but another one. Can you find why ? If we are sure that the "new mac address" won't change, i can change my dhcp to match the new one.by BillyIT - Debian

OK I'll try the new DTB tomorrow and will let you see full logs about it. I'll get to try the second option but if its not working I'll stay with the first. Thanks. See you tomorrowby BillyIT - Debian
I'll try all you said. I don't understand how to go from booting from usb to boot from my hdd? Is there a tutorial about that ? I'll post all tomorrow. Thanks for your help.by BillyIT - Debian

ok, i found how to send the DSM back in my nas ! (so easy after doing the debian stuff) i tried ethtool but i wasn't root... Jan put the source code of the stock u-boot. Is it that you need ? or the DSM source?by BillyIT - Debian
I'm open to test with you the trial and error. Jan puts gpl source. Is it inside or is the DSL source ? If I know how to rebuild the DSM, I'm opened to do it to find the information. It could help People like trying to unbrick this device. This topic is hot on google. If you have tutorial on how to do DTB, I could do it. I'm a remote worker so I can do it all day longby BillyIT - Debian
