connect to wifi or bluetooth and email or send as text to a android or iphone. Did you try on linux and or windows, apple system with the sdcard?by feas - Off-Topic
The dream plug is a different device. I just used that as an easy example as I had it in a text file already. Look through all the configuration options when in "menuconfig" that is where all the magic is. I will not pretend to know anymore than what I have given you already. Just trying to get u-boot working for a device with a config already provided can be difficult and these guby feas - uBoot

simply it opens a connection to the device in a terminal and allows you view the boot up and to type commands on the device as if you were on it. in debian sudo apt-get install picocom connect to device with usb adapter and type picocom /dev/ttyUSB0 -b 115200 in a terminal you should see the settings displayed and terminal ready power on the deviceby feas - Debian
I know I get weird results from faulty connections at times. Reconnect it from scratch and try the other with kwboot too to check that it is that device.by feas - Debian
But it works ok on your other device?by feas - Debian

Are the posted md5 and sha256 sums correct for linux-4.12.8-kirkwood-tld-1-bodhi.tar.bz2 and Debian-4.12.1-kirkwood-tld-1-rootfs-bodhi.tar.bz2? I am getting differences for both. Edit: Actually I am getting different sums for oxnas and the mvebu downloads also. My versions are if there may have been changes to the calculations: md5sum (GNU coreutils) 8.26 sha256sum (GNU coreutilby feas - Debian
I would wait for bodhi to say, have you tried to boot all the way with the new u-boot using kwboot?by feas - Debian
kwboot boots with the new u-boot temporarily so you can test if a new u-boot will work and not risk bricking your device so when you reboot it reverts back to the original.by feas - Debian
