Details here. QuoteThe 64-bit mode isn’t enabled, though, and the foundation will investigate over the next few months whether there is value in enabling it. One of these days someone will get the bright idea to incorporate at least two notebook RAM slots, and everything will take off from there me thinks. But without that, not many advantages having 64-bit CPU support.by JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

It's a neat idea in theory, a Wiki could balance the other out. Call it Grodavian to add Gravelrash LOL Online forums is an area I have some kind if experience in an earlier life. For its kind it was the best on earth and there's assorted sites based on it to this day. I think it's Windows-only, and this is for a desktop with Windows 7, Hackintosh Snow Leopard 10.6.8, and soon to be next version of AV Linux x64. Nice example. I live where it snows all winter, which means dry air and lots of people with ESD problems like that. Many drink alcohol all winter, so a computer repair guy is a very tough job around here. They can't be told it's the same reason balloons are sticking to them and the part they're holding is likely whacked now. Joking aside, I'm building momentum for the day I hook up an ATX power supply to the watt meter and start plugging stuff in. There are two places I failed: 1. I didn't get a Seagate GoFlex uni-toaster nor a case for a 3.5" hard drive, and 2. I've never found 2.5" hard drives that aren't the same price as 3.5"s. My watt meter measured the kitchen toaster @ 70 watts, so this is doable on an ATX power supply (oh! ba doom shhh!). I knew you guys were joking when you said bagels and not pizza. HAVING SAID THAT... it's not outside the realm of possibility to make a pizza box. Thanks G. Did you check that second link I showed? I don't know why they call that an "SAS" end when it plugs into any 3.5" hard drive here. I came to the realization to just make my own primitive toaster with those plugs at the bottom and run the wires into any desktop and copy/backup at blazing'er speeds. But the Pogo 3's, I envision those with a 3.5" holderby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
I would try another enclosure but it's a G-Connect, and it's a better gamble to keep the onboard gigabit LAN and wireless intact. But then again the G-connect is the highest performing USB 2.0 device I have as well. Everything else has appalling transfer speeds. And why it is it takes USB 3.0-specified devices to hug the top end of USB 2.0's specifications? I don't know, but sby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
Is there any way to know the amps available from the 12v Pogoplug Pro? Because having a 3.5" bay would make it worth a lot more to me. For now, we have this interesting connector, only to prove a 12v switchable power supply is enough to run the hard drive, It's possible 5v off the USB 3.0 plug is receiving 5v as well. Regardless, this is my hope. I only bought one so far but plan oby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic
-edited- this started as me asking advice about whether a pair of double-sided RAM should be working in conjunction with a pair of single-sided. the former being known reputable RAM and the latter being Chinese sold and 2 out of 5 total sticks have failed on minimal use. What I never expected was the wild goose chase. I assumed single-sided RAM meant it was low density. Not always true. Web rby JoeyPogoPlugE02 - Off-Topic

Wow what happened to the Mint Linux website? It's my Firefox's start page so I see it every day, and last I saw it was a message from January saying basically we got $16,000 in donations! Whew! I get it - a Pogo E02 is the power source for the three wires that go to the serial pins on a v4/SATA/USB3 model, which v4 Mobile lacks. My December install of 17.2 updated to 17.3 when it was ready, but later on got a fresh 17.3 for Live installs/troubleshooting, one of the perks of that fine Pogoplug E02. Have you all tried 17.3 even as live otherwise? Works on two laptop trackpads here, one a Dell and the other an HP. AV Linux is driver-rich as well. I only run Mint on the ThinClient though, and am waiting to see AV Linux x64 (Debian tweaked oh so nice). Great job bringing awareness to the problem of fake memory habibie. The only reason I'm not as susceptible to buying fake flash is, when it fails, it all fails and prevention takes too long to backup a 128 GB (yes I know it's really like 8GB but the up front spec is still too high to keep all the eggs in one basket) USB 2.0 Whether flash or USB stick.
