I just assumed the PCIE wasn't bootable (accessible from uBoot) similar to how the USB3 ports on the PPV4 isn't accessible/bootable. Side question, when using the internal sata for something like a portable SSD/HD, how do you guys go about powering the drive? I was thinking the USB port should provide enough power, but couldn't find a USB to "SATA Power Connector" cablby grayman4hire - Debian

@LeggoMyEggo, I looked into OpenWRT on the Pogoplug Pro (OXNAS) last night and the current instructions is crazy complex. My thought is that we should be able to boot directly into OpenWRT using only bodhi's uboot, similar to how it's done on the Pogoplug V4 - http://blog.qnology.com/2015/02/openwrt-on-pogoplug-mobile.html. The issue is there is no prebuilt openwrt oxnas rootfsby grayman4hire - uBoot

Found my stock P22. Not a complete, but you can check the revert script for some of the uboot env - http://os.archlinuxarm.org/os/oxnas/ I was hoping that the stock u-boot env was still available via the blparam commands, but it looks like the location is overwritten (versus on the E02 and PPV4). Is it possible to change that in a future release/updated instructions?by grayman4hire - Debian

I'm pretty sure there is no "lspci" command available in the stock Pogoplug OS. I can't verify because my Pro is already running Debian. Maybe a "dmesg | grep pcie" is sufficient. I believe I have a unmodified P21 (OXNAS) somewhere to test on.by grayman4hire - Debian
I'm going to put together a tutorial on setting up Debian on the Pogoplug v3/Pro leveraging @bodhi's work. What's a easy way via command line (from the stock Pogoplug OS) to determine if the Pogoplug is a Pro vs Classic? Basically to help determine which appropriate DTB file (ox820-pogoplug-pro.dtb or ox820-pogoplug-classic.dtb) to use. Thanksby grayman4hire - Debian
FYI - I pulled out my Pogoplug Pro I had sitting in my cabinet last night and installed Debian on it. @Bodhi, if you don't mind, I'll rehost your files and put together a tutorial so everything can be performed using the stock Pogoplug OS.by grayman4hire - Debian

FYI - I do not currently recommend the archlinuxarm uboot for the E02. Either use Jeff's or Bodhi. There are a few minor bugs with the archlinuxarm uboot, mainly netconsole not working as expected (no preboot) and you will not be able to boot the default Pogoplug OS because the uboot is missing the fsload needed to chainload the original uboot. Hey @bodhi, Too funny. You've been in doubt ever since I mentioned wanting to boot the default Pogoplug OS on the PPV4. :) Yes it works and yes you'll be able to register the service. The original blparam env variable and SVCID is untouched. From CE prospective, it's all the same just like on the E02. I was actually wondering how the pogoplug service would work using youby grayman4hire - uBoot
Sorry, I'm going to offer some different advice from Bodhi... All you really need to do is setup a debian/alarm usb drive and follow this tutorial so that you can boot back into the default Pogoplug OS - http://blog.qnology.com/p/pogoplug-v4-boot-default-pogoplug-os.html Don't mind that the kwb file is on the root, it doesn't impact anything. Sorry, I didn't read this thread but wanted to throw out one reason why this happened - Pogoplug v2 doesn't show up on LAN after Archlinux install -to one of my blog readers. The Pogoplug E02 uBoot was from Jeff Doozan, but he followed the re-installation instructions from archlinuxarm.org which explicitely instructs the user to format the USB drive as EXT4 (and not EXT3 as expectedby grayman4hire - uBoot

The tutorial assumes you're installing webmin from scratch. The installation isn't rocket science. It's literally 4 commands - install webmin, update config, start webmin, enable webmin to start after reboot. Check your miniserv.conf file. Keep things simple and allow any address to connect. Once you get things working you can secure things up a bit. BTW, why is your Pogoby grayman4hire - Off-Topic
