Fairly certain i somehow baulked the installation - whether through copy and paste or some other mechanism.... the plug is now working - amazing what a fresh rootfs will do..... *looks sheepish and scratches head*by Gravelrash - Debian

850 - here i come.....by Gravelrash - uBoot
Hi all i replaced the awful wifi card with an atheros based one..... installed the appropriate firmware.... THEN the system thought it would be a fabulous idea to rebuild the headers/ regenerate the image and now i dont have access. The lack of access in itself isnt the issue. What im curious to know is is this to be expected of this build or have i somehow baulked up the install commands.by Gravelrash - Debian
What clock speed is the above uboot set at? How far Do you intend to push it? I have a spare pogoppro and dont mind pushing it to the limit in the interests of testing and developmentby Gravelrash - uBoot
Just installed this and managed to install the 2013 uboot. from an installation perspective all things look rosy. Just a couple of questions and im guessing i should have placed it in the appropriate uboot section, What clock speed is the uboot set at? How far can we push it? i have a spare pogoppro and dont mind pushing it to the limit.by Gravelrash - Debian

Still not had the opportunity to get to my devices, however from doing reading and "sorting wheat from the chaff" im going to be using the following links as starters for ten when i get back to my toys this weekend. it looks like any kernel after 3.8 is a viable candidate for f2fs as long as the kernel modules are available or precompiled. . https://wiki.archlinux.org/indeby Gravelrash - Debian
I use transmission as a daemon. Rock solid has web access to the interface and also has a nice droid app too.by Gravelrash - Debian
Not had chance to look at this yet... Work has stopped play and I'm 30 miles away from my devices. There however appears to be a user contributed deb repository for the tools so I will look at that and see if they are platform independent. Hopefully they are and we get steps closer.by Gravelrash - Debian
Does anyone have any experience of using the minipcie slot on the pogopro for anything other than the wifi card that it comes with? I was wondering if anyone on here has use the slot to mount additional hdd's. i could have totally lost the plot on this one, but will this sata adaptor work in this unit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/95233-DeLOCK-MiniPCIe-I-O-PCIe-full-size-2-x-SATA-6-Gb-s-/40by Gravelrash - Off-Topic

Below is a link to the latest ones i have purchased that "just work out of the box" and makes the mod nice and easy for the stereo jack. I only use Linux and on my *buntu laptop the kernel and driver support is built in. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IZ9OFSG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 I dont see any negatives/downsides with the EXT4 filesysby Gravelrash - Debian
@Don - I use Ext3 for my partitions and if i add another device other than the usd/usb thumbdrive then i mount that as Ext4. If you are in the UK i would solder you a serial connector in and mod it to feed out to a 3.5mm audio jack with matching TTY adaptor. Gravelrashby Gravelrash - Debian
@Don I cant claim the type of uptime that rat has enjoyed, however, i only run from usb drives or sd cards, in the 6 months its been running as a mini nas and torrent box, i havent seen any hiccups in terms of flashdisk failures. Call me foolish, but i dont overprovision and use the full disk as i cant determine if any of my flash drives i use actually support the feature.by Gravelrash - Debian
Hi I do all plugs by following the instructions as provided by Qui found here. this should give you a starter for 10 as it were and its mostly copy and paste. I can't comment for 3.16 rootfs. But 3.14, my fs of choice works OK. Have you tried a different rootfs. To rule out if its specific to the one you are using or to all fs releases?by Gravelrash - Debian
Have you tried installing it from the mysql repo instead?by Gravelrash - Debian
Things are looking positive on the testbuild front. One problem we came up against was that the DNS requests were always being passed to the local ISP - not ideal for a "secure box". After some digging around i came across a post detailing how to override the locally assigned DNS server(s) and replace it with a DNS server(s) of choice. in this instance it was decided to use the Oby Gravelrash - Debian
I have looked at reviews on the safeplug. And there appear to be security concerns that are introduced by its attempted ease of use and tie in to the CE website. There are ways to address them. However. What CE have attempted is admirable yet marred by a lack of updating to the latest stable tor release and having to rely on the availability of an explicitly trusted network.
