Hello Bodhi, My setup is to boot from an external USB storage and not from NAND storage. It is true that I have not touched the stock firmware and it is still there. Thanks for the information on removing the dt_load_initrd environment.by habibie - uBoot
Bodhi, That makes sense. Thank you.by habibie - uBoot
I did a telnet into my PogoPlug Pro 02 running on OpenWRT. I did a dmesg and df. From the dmesg dump, it looks like OpenWRT booting sequence. However, from the output of df, it looks like PogoPlug filesystem. Connected to 10.0.0.207. Escape character is '^]'. Bodhi, If you look at the output from uname -a, the Linux kernel shows the date is 5/5/15. So, it can't be the stock Linux kernel, right? / # uname -a Linux PogoplugPro 3.18.11 #1 SMP Tue May 5 18:17:24 UTC 2015 armv6l GNU/Linux / # Just to make sure, here is my uboot env. @grayman4hire Actually, those error messages are from OpenWRT snapshot installed on an SD card that I prepared following your tutorial guide (OpenWRT on Pogoplug v3/Oxnas (Pro/Classic)). perhaps, OpenWRT build scripts do reference to CloudEngine's stuffs. Right now, my build won't boot and just gets stuck on Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. I believe it has somethiby habibie - uBoot
Hello Bodhi, Thank you and that does the trick. Now, my PogoPlug Pro 02 runs OpenWRT. However, it looks like UBIFS generates the following error messages. Have you any idea why? After a long delay, today I finally got sometimes to upgrade my PogoPlug Pro 02 to Bodi's u-boot. It boots OK with debian ARM. However, when I tried to boot a self-built OpenWRT, it keeps looping/resetting as shown below. I don't have /boot/uInitrd. Can this be the issue? @JoeyPogoPlugE02: I think this is rather a kernel feature that can be enabled through make menuconfig. Just for the shake of discussion, what is the kernel symbol used to represent jumbo frame?by habibie - uBoot

I was perusing this Hacking the Pogoplug v3/Oxnas (Pro/Classic) with Debian blog and noticed the download firmware utilities links reference to http://download.qnology.com/pogoplug/v4. AFAIK, PogoPlug V4 is a Marvel Kirkwood and not OXNAS platform. So, how is the compatibility between the two platforms? In other words, will the firmware tools from a Marvel Kirkwood run correctly on an OXNAS platfby habibie - uBoot
Thanks for the information and advice. When I use the rebate AmEx card, I will make sure to use all to end up with $0 balance. Otherwise, AmEx will start imposing monthly fees until the balance drains to $0.by habibie - Debian

LeggoMyEggo, Thank you for the link with photos. After carefully observing all your photos, I now understand what I need to order as shown below. A Single SATA to ESATA External PCI Slot ($1.53). A SATA L Female connector ($1.51). A SATA 22Pin to eSATA Data USB Powered Cable Adapter ($2.88). They all add up to about $5.92 (more expensive than the PogoPlug Pro P02). Does anyone here know what kind of a USB connector is used on this 4 in1 USB TF Micro SD Camera Connection Kit Card Reader Adapter for iPad 4, i.e. micro or mini USB, etc.? If it is a mini USB, perhaps I can buy one and plug it on the docking port on my Seagate Dockstar. Otherwise, I will need a micro USB to a mini USB adapter.by habibie - Debian
